This policy explains how Close Lab, LLC ("CloseLab," "we," "us") handles information collected through this website, including the form you use to request a call. It doesn't cover the CloseLab training platform itself. Information our clients and their teams put into the platform is covered by the agreement we sign with each client.
The short version
- We only collect what you type into our form, plus a few technical details needed to run and protect the site.
- We use it to reply to you, set up a call and put together pricing.
- We don't sell your information or share it for advertising.
- This site doesn't use analytics, ad pixels, tracking scripts or tracking cookies. Its one cookie only remembers that you closed our privacy notice.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you request a call, we collect what you enter in the form:
- Your name, work email and company (required)
- Your industry and the size of your sales team (required)
- Your phone number and role (optional)
- How many sales processes you'd like to train, what you want to improve, the best times to reach you and any message you write (optional)
- Your agreement that we can contact you
Please don't include information about your own customers, or other sensitive personal information, in the message box.
Information collected automatically
- Time zone. When you send the form, your browser tells us your time zone so we can suggest call times that work for you.
- IP address, used briefly. We use your IP address to limit repeated submissions and prevent spam. Our application holds it in temporary memory for about 10 minutes and doesn't save it with your request.
- Hosting logs. Like most websites, the company that hosts our site may automatically log technical details such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of each request. These logs are used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems.
What we don't collect
This site doesn't use analytics tools, advertising pixels, social media trackers or tracking cookies. Our fonts and images are served from our own site, so your visit isn't reported to a font or image service. The only cookie we use is a strictly necessary one that remembers you've closed our privacy notice. Our Cookie Policy has the details.
How we use it
- To respond to your request, schedule a call and prepare a quote for your team
- To send you follow-up emails about CloseLab that relate to your request
- To understand your team's needs so the call is useful
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse
- To comply with the law and protect our legal rights
We don't use form submissions to train AI models, and we don't use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. We only share it:
- With service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, the email service that delivers your request to our inbox, and the email and calendar tools we use to talk with you. They may use it only to provide services to us.
- When the law requires it, or when needed to protect the rights, safety or property of CloseLab, our users or others.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. In that case, the new owner must honor this policy for the information it receives.
- With your permission, for any other purpose you agree to.
How long we keep it
We keep call requests while we're talking with you about CloseLab. If you don't become a client, we delete your request within 24 months of our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. If you do become a client, your information is handled under your client agreement. We may keep limited information longer if the law requires it.
How we protect it
Call requests are stored in a private database. Only authorized people at CloseLab can see them, through a password-protected admin page. Data is sent to our site over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Your choices and rights
Whatever state or country you live in, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you and give you a copy
- Correct information that's wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop sending you emails. You can also reply "unsubscribe" to any email we send.
To make a request, email us at griffin.hammer@closelabapp.com or write to the address below. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it, and we'll respond within 45 days. If we turn down your request, we'll explain why, and you can ask us to reconsider. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.
